Zoltán Kodály: Psalmus Hungaricus

For those of you – like me! – whose Magyar is a bit rusty, I should explain that Kodály is here being interviewed by Hungarian Television on the subject of music education, a topic on which he had great expertise – the ‘Kodály method’ for music teaching is world famous.

The Psalmus Hungaricus, together with the Peacock Variations and the unaccompanied cello sonata, is considered to be amongst the composer’s finest music.
