Mahler’s ‘Symphony for tenor, alto (or baritone) and orchestra is – apart from some small additions by the composer himself – a setting of Chinese poetry in ‘translation’. There are six songs of which four are settings of the T’ang dynasty poet, Li Tai Po.
The image is of a Chinese poem (unfortunately not by any of the poets set in the Song of the Earth).
