Karl Leister

One of the clarinet quintets that we won’t be looking at and/or listening to is the one written by Carl Maria von Weber for Heinrich Bärmann – it’s a fine piece, we just don't have the time. However, since there is (as far as I can tell) no video of a Brahms quintet performance by Leister and the Amadeus Quartet to be had on the web; here he is, with fellow members of the Berlin Philharmonic, performing the virtuosic last movement of the Weber.
