For the final session of this term we will listen to the Má vlast cycle in its entirety; it’s the best way to listen to it – I’ve always found fascinating and exciting the way that the work builds to the patriotic fervour of Blaník.
Out of interest, the OED defines a symposium as:
A drinking-party; a convivial meeting for drinking, conversation, and intellectual entertainment: properly among the ancient Greeks, hence generally.
Perish the thought!!
Courses for next year will start on the 18th and 19th of January.
