Alexander Borodin

So far we have listened to two works in b minor: Brahms’ Clarinet Quintet and Tchaikovsky’s Pathétique Symphony. This Wednesday we return to Russia to take, with Borodin, a brief camel ride across the central Asian steppes, and to discuss the composer’s Second Symphony in (of course) b minor.
