Unfinished Symphony/Renard


Is the most famous b minor work Schubert’s Unfinished Symphony? It has certainly – together with the Bach mass and the Liszt sonata – established itself as one of the central works of the classic repertory.
By way of tying up some of the other loose ends that the last few weeks have unknotted, we will also listen to Stravinsky’s wonderful (as a child I adored it!) burlesque, Renard.
