Due to my feelings of guilt after having tried (and failed) to do justice to German nationalism in just one session, this week we will continue the journey (which started at the bottom of the Rhine) from Nibelheim to Valhalla. Alberich is held captive by Wotan and Loge and must pay a bitter price for his freedom.
